Progressive Youth Organization holds rally to expel Syrian Ambassador

The Progressive Socialist Party's Youth Organization is organizing a rally at Samir Kassir Square on Friday evening to call for the expulsion of the Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon.

In this regard, the PSP’s Media Officer Rami Rayess told LBCI that the sit-in is peaceful and symbolic, and is not a political festival. “It aims at voicing rejection of what is happening in Syria”, he said. Rayess pointed out that the PSP did not return to March 14 due to a disagreement over main issues.

Rayess told LBCI that the party officially supports the disassociation policy as to avoid providing an excuse for importing the Syrian crisis in to Lebanon.
