Armed auto-theft leaves driver stabbed in the stomach

Two assailants succeeded at robbing a taxi car from its owner Mahdi Kassen Arab after they had drawn up a knife at him, leaving him with several stab wounds in the stomach.

In the details, Mahdi had been driving his regular route on board his white Nissan Sunny (#387130) when two passengers mounted his vehicle asking him to take them to Sidon. Whilst driving, they drew up knives and proceeded to stab the driver, eventually pushing him out of the car on the Nehmeh highway and fleeing with his car.

Mahdi was rushed to the Saint Therese Hospital where he is receiving treatment. He was able to give the security apparatuses descriptions of the two persons.
