Introduction to the evening news 11-09-2012

Army raids in Beirut's Southern Suburbs have become daily news. Mokdad clan seems to be deprived of any political cover after leaving an atmosphere of terror and chaos that various political parties took benefit of.           

After releasing the 4 Syrian hostages, the LAF is determined to discover the whereabouts of the 2 Turkish nationals knowing that the first was moved by the Mokdad clan from the suburbs to another place, while the second is still in custody of another group known as Imam Al-Reda.             

The LAF took to the issue of the abductees, as the military justice held an interrogation session for Former Minister Michel Samaha in the case of transferring explosives from Syria into Lebanon.                        

Following the accusation of Major General Jamil Sayyed of being with Samaha while moving the explosives, Sayyed announced in a press conference his candidacy for the upcoming parliamentary elections as an independent candidate on the list of Amal and Hezbollah.               

Before explicitly discussing these issues, two important issues are worth mentioning:               

Lebanon's Football Team won against Iran in the FIFA World Cup qualifications with a score of 1-0.           

However, difficulty remains in passing the series of ranks and salaries which is set to also increase the salaries of presidents, deputies, and ministers.
