"No To Violence Against Children" campaign launched today

The Ministry of Social Affairs-Supreme Childhood Council launched on Wednesday a national awareness campaign, entitled "No To Violence Against Children," under the patronage of the First Lady Wafaa Sleiman, at the Baabda presidential palace, in the presence of Social Affairs Minister, Wael Abu Faour.

During the launching ceremony, Minister Abu Faour stressed that "Lebanese children are not safe."

For her part, the First Lady called for a strict enforcement of the law to protect children from violence "even from their relatives."
