Cost-of-living expenses to be paid by the end of September

Lebanese President Michel Sleiman discussed on Monday with the Director General of State Security Major General George Araa the available data on some of the security files raised for follow up in the Directorate of State Security.

This as Head of the Future parliamentary bloc, MP Fouad Siniora, visited Ain-el-Tineh on Monday and met with the Speaker Nabih Berri for talks over most recent developments in Lebanon.

In another context, the Finance and Budget Committee held a meeting in Njemeh Square. After the meeting, Head of the Committee MP Ibrahim Kanaan mentioned that the Ministry of Finance will start paying the cost-of-living differences with the planned increase on the salaries by the end of this month.

Kanaan pointed out that these differences amount to 950 Billion LBP.
