Ahrar call for a merger between the majoritarian and the smaller districts law

The National Liberal Party [Ahrar] declared its support of the smaller districts law on base that it is merged with the majoritarian since the “fusion would assure fair representation and raise the rate of participation in the elections.”

The party and after its periodical meeting, called on all political forces to place personal interests aside and instead pay attention to the public’s interest, refraining from steps that lead to more complications.

The Party also called on the Lebanese army to deploy effectively along the northern and eastern borders, and to provide protection to citizens by putting an end to arms smuggling and insurgency.
