Lebanese University students stage sit-in in Beirut and Zahle
Lebanese University students’ protests continue. Today the Faculty of Arts and Humanities –Section1 - Zahle, witnessed Masters Students protesting against what they view as “offbeat” decisions made by the administration, alongside the raise in registration fees.   

The demonstrations regarding those issues first kicked off in Beirut but seem to be moving on to several regions including the Bekaa.    

Student are in disarray over the administrations sudden decisions which they say is obliging them to move to Beirut whereby they had had the option of completing their studies in their local branches.         

They are also awaiting explanations regarding the raise in fees and the circumstances behind the decision.
