Foreign Affairs Minister Hitti: A complaint will be filed to UN Security Council tomorrow

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nassif Hitti said on Tuesday that the Lebanese Cabinet condemned the Israeli attack on Lebanon, adding that a complaint will be filed tomorrow to the United Nations Security Council.

“We adhere to the existence of the UNIFIL and the extension of its mandate without any amendment,” he added.

Hitti asserted his rejection of the Israeli aggression against Lebanon, noting that "maintaining peace and security is the basis for stability in the Middle East region.”

“There is a clear aggression against Lebanon,” he concluded by saying.
