President Aoun meets Egypt, Jordan ambassadors

Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon Sameh Shoukri said on Tuesday that his country has confidence that the Lebanese people has the ability to overcome this phase.

Shoukri’s comments were made during his meeting with President Michel Aoun at the Baabda Palace whereby he said that his country is ready to support Lebanon.

President Aoun also met with Jordanian Ambassador to Lebanon Ayman al-Safadi whereby he stressed that the Jordanian field hospital will remain in Lebanon as long as it is needed.

He also noted that an airplane carrying aid will arrive on Thursday, adding that Lebanon will not be left alone to face the repercussions of the explosion.
