Diab meets with Kubis over International aid for Lebanon

Caretaker Prime Minister Hassan Diab received on Friday at the Grand Serail a delegation from the Executive Board’s Authority of the General Labor Confederation in Lebanon, which included GLC President, Hassan Fakih and Vice-President Saad El Din Hmaidi Sakr, in the presence of PM’s Advisor, Hussein Kaafarani.

The delegation expressed its concern regarding Central Bank’s bent to lift subsidies.

Later on, Premier Diab met with UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Jan Kubis, with talks featuring international aid for Lebanon in the aftermath of Beirut Port’s explosion.

In the afternoon, PM Diab held a meeting with Minister Talal Hawat and a delegation from Ogero's union of employees, headed by the Union’s Head Elie Zeitouni. The interlocutors discussed Ogero’s working mechanism.

Premier Diab also received the Secretary-General of the "Tashnag Party", MP Hagop Pakradounian and Minister of Youth and Sports Vartine Ohanian, in the presence of PM’s Advisor Khodor Taleb, with discussions broaching the general situation in the country.
