March 14 Secretariat: fundamental change needed to revise arms issue
The General Secretariat of March 14 held a meeting on Wednesday whereby several local and regional topics were discussed. The issue of Hezbollah’s alleged involvement in the Syrian crisis topped the discussions, with the Secretariat describing the latest incidents pertaining to the Resistance group as “a show of collaboration between the latter and the Syrian Regime.”

Following their weekly meeting, the Secretariat called on the LAF and the Security Forces to issue a statement explaining the circumstances behind the Nabi Sheet explosion, in light of Hezbollah preventing security apparatuses from reaching the scene.

The Secretariat lauded the position of Lebanese President Michel Sleiman on this issue, calling for a fundamental change in terms of dealing with the issue “arms and the defense strategy”.

On October 3rd three explosions blasted though a Nabi Sheet weapons depot, later confirmed as belonging to Hezbollah. Hezbollah announced that three were killed as a result of the explosion by which the circumstances of the flare up have not yet been announced.
