Hbeish to LBCI: governmental appointments are a positive indication
Lebanon First MP Hady Hbeish noted that the appointments allotted by cabinet yesterday “were a step in the right direction,” adding that all the names “cannot be disputed.”

In an interview with Nharkom Said via LBCI, Hbeish attributed all the “positive strides in the government’s performance to the opposition.”

"The government remains vacant,” he added, stressing that institutional positions must be filled through conducting necessary examinations.

Hbeish blamed the delay in the allocation of positions to the “row” between FPM leader MP Michel Aoun and Lebanese President Michel Sleiman.

On the issue of Hezbollah members allegedly found in Syria, Hbeish said that “Jihad must be practiced against an enemy and not against the Syrian people.”

“There is a strategic decision by Hezbollah to delve into the Syrian war,” he added.

When asked on the Future bloc’s alleged funding of the Syrian opposition vise-a-vise Turkey, and Saudi Arabia, Hbeish stressed that the accusation is “illogical, seemingly since the Future Party is in the midst of an economic crisis.”
