Rayyes to LBCI: PSP is ready to discuss formation of new Cabinet

The media commissioner of the Progressive Socialist Party (PSP) Rami Rayyes stressed that the Cabinet will not resign before agreeing on a formula for an alternative Cabinet and said that this decision threatens Lebanon's civil peace.

Talking to LBCI during Nharkom Said, Rayyes expressed the PSP's readiness for any discussions that may lead to the formation of a new cabinet.

He also asked for the disclosure of the circumstances of Brig. Gen. Wissam al-Hassan's assassination.

"We understand the people's anger, but setting responsibility on the Cabinet and its Prime Minister carries out the Syrian regime's will i.e; diverting attention from the Syrian crisis towards neighboring countries."
