On the occasion of the World Civil Defense Day, Caretaker Prime Minister Hassan Diab issued on Monday the following statement:
“On the World Civil Defense Day, we pay tribute to the civil defense soldiers in Lebanon who are dedicated to protecting their community and making enormous sacrifices, despite meager capabilities, scarce resources, weak funding and lack of access to their rights.”
