Jisr to LBCI: Boycotting the government is an act of democracy

MP Samir Jisr once again called for the handover of the four suspects in the assassination case of late PM Rafik Hariri to authorities, reiterating his call for the referral of the Brig. Gen. Wissam Hassan’s case to the STL as well.

Speaking on Wednesday to Nharkom Said on LBCI, Jisr stressed that the political party he represents is not “after the government” but instead hopes for the establishment of a neutral government to precede the elections.

“Boycotting governmental meetings does not paralyze the country, on the contrary it is an act of democracy,” he said, adding that toppling the government from the street is not acceptable manner at the moment.
