Pharmacists protest outside Ministry of Health

A number of pharmacists staged a protest outside the Ministry of Health building on Thursday, demanding that they raise their fees and import medicines in the required quantities.

They explained in a statement that they "went to the ministry to raise their voice," warning that "they themselves are compelled to completely close their pharmacies if their demands are not met."

The pharmacists emphasized that "their actions are not directed against the citizens."
