Inspection campaign in Roumieh prison

A force consisting of one hundred security members and an officer at the internal security forces launched a wide scale inspection campaign in collaboration with the prison security, inspecting all rooms in search of contraband phones, sharp utensils and drugs.

The move comes as a prelude to the resumption of maintenance and installation of a number of doors and partitions inside the prison cells to control the entry and exit of detainees in preparation for trials.
