President Aoun meets with World Bank Group delegation

President Michel Aoun met on Monday with a delegation of the World Bank Group headed by Vice President for Middle East and North Africa Farid Belhaj at the Baabda Presidential Palace.

Discussions featured high over the restructuring of the World Bank loans that have not yet been used according to urgent priorities.

For his part, Belhaj asserted that the WB Group will remain beside Lebanon and is committed to paying the social safety net loan with the possibility of adding $300 million to support the marginalized groups.
