Fares Soaid from Bekfayya: battle is not with March 14 allies, but with Hezbollah

A meeting between MP Sami Gemayel and March 14 General-Secretariat Coordinator Fares Soaid Monday was held in Bekfaya on Monday whereby sources said that the Kataeb front man Amin Gemayel, Sami and Soaid settled old disputes.

Following the meeting, a joint press conference was held by both Souaid and Sami Gemayel whereby Souaid said that the "battle was not against any party from March14; it instead is against Hezbollah and conflicts imposed on Lebanon."

For his part, Sami Gemayel said that the Kataeb party does not have a "personal problem" with the March14 General Directorate but clarified that issues are structural related to methods of work and coordination.
