Health Ministry: Vaccination certificate issued by official COVAX platform doesn't require endorsement

Caretaker Minister of Health Dr. Hamad Hasan chaired a meeting by the Official Vaccine Platform Committee, during which it has been confirmed that the electronic vaccination certificate, issued by the official vaccine platform (covax.moph.gov.lb) with a QR CODE, is a globally approved vaccination certificate.

“It does not need any endorsement or signature by any authority,” according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Health’s media office.

As for people who received the vaccine from outside the platform, they are not authorized to obtain a vaccination certificate, the statement added.
