Tarraf from Baabda: Lebanese leaders must assume their responsibilities

Ambassador of the European Union in Lebanon Ralph Tarraf asserted on Thursday that the EU is focusing on the formation of a new Cabinet that restores the trust of the Lebanese people.

“The next government must be the first step towards dealing with the economic crisis,” Tarraf said after meeting with President Michel Aoun at the Baabda Presidential Palace.

“You can count on us in this difficult time, but Lebanese leaders must assume their responsibilities,” he added.
