Public Works Minister Ali Hamieh confirmed on Friday that he will work on a legal mechanism to support taxi and public bus drivers with the purpose of providing transportation to all Lebanese including professors and teachers.
Hamieh’s comments were made to LBCI whereby he pointed out that he asked those concerned for figures and data regarding the number of public and private school buses, in preparation for a study aimed at subsidizing the fuel that these buses need.
