Berri praises the sacrifices made by Armenians for their country

Speaker Nabih Berri said that Armenia and Lebanon share common values since both peoples have made great sacrifices in the name of their beloved nation. He also praised the Lebanese of Armenian origins for their dedicated involvement in the political and social life of Lebanon.

Speaking before the Armenian parliament, Berri said that the international community is conspiring against Arab countries and attempting to isolate each one.

“The Middle East will never rest”, Berri said, adding, “Just as it is Lebanon’s right to cling to the resistance against Israeli violations, it is also Syria’s right to keep fighting to recover the occupied Golan.” Berri travelled to Armenia to meet with Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan and discuss bilateral relations.
