Le Drian: Dissociating Lebanon from regional rivalries is of fundamental importance

The French Foreign Ministry confirmed on Friday that it is in close contact with all parties concerned with the recent row between Lebanon and Arab countries.

In this regard, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian called on all parties as well as Lebanese officials to promote dialogue for the benefit of Lebanese and Lebanon's stability, stressing that “it is critical for the region.”

“The dissociation of Lebanon from regional rivalries is of fundamental importance, and Lebanon must be able to count on all its regional partners to support it on the path to reforms," he added.
