Bou Habib discusses political developments, Gulf rift with Wronecka, Collard

Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdallah Bou Habib met on Tuesday with the United Nations Special Coordinator in Lebanon Joana Wronecka, who stressed "the importance of holding the upcoming parliamentary elections and international assistance in this regard."

They discussed the political developments in the country as well as the Lebanon-Gulf rift that arose following comments of Information Minister Georges Kordahi on the Saudi-led intervention in Yemen.

Bou Habib also discussed with British Ambassador to Lebanon Ian Collard the bilateral relations between the two countries and their development, in addition to the current crisis between Lebanon and the Gulf states, and looked into a potential solution.
