Justice Minister warns against categorizing judges into scattered groups
Justice Minister Judge Henry el-Khoury warned on Wednesday against turning the port blast case into a “judicial drama,” stressing that the Justice Palace should remain a safe haven for judges, lawyers and litigants to carry out their responsibilities and mission free of all pressures.

The Minister also cautioned against categorizing judges into scattered groups and turning them into a national cause in order to defend or vilify them, since this will not lead to justice.

“Investigations into the port file are ongoing, as the Justice Minister has done and will do everything that the law allows him to do in this regard, with his keenness to protect the judicial body so that it does not become a victim,” he explained.
