Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rahi received on Wednesday in Bkerki Lebanon's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Fawzi Kabbara and Ambassador to Bahrain Milad Nammour.
Talks touched on the challenges Lebanese expatriates are facing especially in KSA and Bahrain, as both ambassadors briefed Patriarch Rahi on the relapse of the recent crisis on the Lebanese agriculturalists and industrialists, with their inability to export and travel to Gulf countries.
Diplomats considered that the solution lies in taking the necessary measures to put things back on the right track before the gap widens, following comments of Information Minister George Kordahi.
With regard to the measures that have been taken and are being taken against Lebanese residents in the Gulf States, the two ambassadors affirmed that "the matter is serious and will worsen in the coming period, and this matter has catastrophic repercussions.”
