Defense Minister Selim meets Iraqi President

Defense Minister Maurice Selim met on Tuesday with Iraqi President Barham Salih, whereby he confirmed his country's commitment to the security and stability of Iraq.

During the meeting, they both highlighted the importance of bilateral relations, the need to work to strengthen them in several fields, as well as the need to cooperate in the military field through agreements and understandings concluded in this regard.

Selim then met with his Iraqi counterpart Juma Inad Saadoun, where they signed a memorandum of understanding on military cooperation between both countries.
