Israeli army claims it struck Hezbollah infrastructure after drone attack

Israeli army spokesperson Ella Waweya said the Israeli military struck Hezbollah infrastructure in response to an explosive-laden drone launched toward its forces in the security zone.

"Hezbollah operatives last night launched an explosive-laden drone toward Israeli army forces operating in the security zone in southern Lebanon. No injuries were reported," she said on X.

"In response, the Israeli army carried out airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in several areas of southern Lebanon," she added.

The targets included sites allegedly used by Hezbollah operatives to launch explosive drones and anti-tank missiles toward Israeli forces, as well as other infrastructure, according to Waweya.
