Daher to LBCI: those who died in Syria took an individual initiative

Deputy Khaled Daher stressed on Saturday on the importance of distancing Lebanon from the Syrian crisis and considered that those some took individual steps to help the Free Syrian Army face the crimes of the regime.

Talking to LBCI during Nharkom Said, Daher asked the Lebanese youths not to drag themselves into the Syrian crisis despite their protective jealousy over Syria.

Daher added that the Free Syrian Army does not need more fighters, and the Syrian people need media and political support as well as humanitarian aid for the displaced.

Furthermore, Daher explained that these young men went on Thursday to Syria and died in an ambush by the regime forces and mentioned that only 4 of them died while 2 others are arrested.

"Some of those who survived called their families in Lebanon while others resorted to the Free Syrian Army," he concluded.
