Head of Military Healthcare to LBCI: Medical services must be secured to all army troops
Head of the Military Healthcare Brigardier General Georges Youssef said on Sunday that medical services are an important matter that must be secured for all army troops, whether active or retired.

During an interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV show, Youssef stated that with Major General Joseph Aoun assuming command of the Lebanese army, "it became evident that he was interested in military healthcare."

"We began the process of developing and upgrading the military healthcare at all levels four years ago, with the direct support of the army commander," he continued.

He also stated that the army leadership is making every effort to avoid being affected by Lebanon's economic problems.

"All aid that reaches the army commander is prioritized for military healthcare, and this problem has assisted us in overcoming crises," he said.
