In cooperation with the head of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, UNICEF released the results of studies and statistics pertaining to the conditions of Palestinian refugees across Lebanon.                       

The study paints a clear picture of the reality of Palestinian children in the camps and provides the latest statistics and information that aim to provide assistance agencies with new information for the development of the situation of women and children in the camps.                 

According to the results of the stats, 13% of Palestinian children in refugee camps suffer from severe malnourishment.   An estimated 400 thousand refugees currently live in Lebanon. Camps are estimated to number 12.
