PM Mikati holds series of meetings at Grand Serail-[PHOTOS]

Prime Minister Najib Mikati held on Wednesday a meeting with US Special Advisor on International Disability Rights Sara Minkara in the presence of US Ambassador to Lebanon Dorothy Shea, political and economic affairs officer at the embassy Janae Cooley, as well as Mikati’s advisors Samir Daher and Ziad Mikati, whereby they discussed the efforts made by the Lebanese administration regarding people with special needs.

Mikati also received a delegation of families of those arrested in the case of Beirut Port blast.

Modi Koraytem spoke on behalf of the delegation saying that “this visit is a reminder of the detainees of Beirut Port blast case, and for nearly two years since their arrest,” adding that “the political and judicial conflicts made the investigation stop, and their health deteriorated, so they should not be left in detention.”

PM Mikati then received a delegation from the Lebanese Notary Public Council headed by Naji al-Khazen, where they tackled all matters related to the development and organization of the notary public profession, draft laws and decrees.

Later in the day, Mikati met with Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister Elias al-Murr, as well as Deputy Prime Minister Saadeh al-Shami.
