Nasrallah: Upcoming elections will not distract us from responding to any Israeli aggression

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said on Friday that “the sacrifices of the Palestinian people must be addressed to the human conscience and the conscience of every Muslim and every free person in this world."

Nasrallah’s comments were made during a ceremony on Jerusalem Day.

“The issue of Palestine is part of our religion, our faith and our dignity, and we are a nation that cannot give up its faith and belief, nor its dignity,” he stressed.

As for the upcoming elections in Lebanon, Nasrallah said that the polls will not distract his party from responding to any Israeli aggression.

“When the Israeli maneuvers begin, we the resistance in Lebanon will be at the highest levels of alertness and readiness,” he concluded by saying.
