US State Department official says Lebanon-Israel talks held in ‘very positive’ atmosphere

A U.S. State Department official described the latest round of talks between Lebanon and Israel in Washington as “very positive,” saying the atmosphere exceeded expectations.

“The atmosphere of the talks has been very positive, even exceeding expectations,” the official said.
