Ambassador al-Hashem to LBCI: All arrangements related to expatriates vote completed

Ambassador Hadi al-Hashem asserted on Thursday that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has completed all arrangements related to the expatriates vote, explaining that the ballot boxes have arrived to the concerned countries.

In an interview with LBCI's "Nharkom Said" TV show, he emphasized that everything is being done to ensure that the electoral process is completed and that any dilemmas, if any, are addressed.

Ambassador al-Hashem considered that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is carrying out the largest logistical operation in the modern history of Lebanon, stressing that the monitoring process will be transparent.

In response to the possibility of submitting an appeal against the elections, he voiced rejection to any accusations, saying that they are working with modest capabilities.

‘It is up to the Constitutional Council in case any appeals were submitted,” he added.
