Displaced Palestinian refugees stage sit-in before the UNRWA in Beirut

Dozens of Palestinian refugees who have now joined the list of Syria’s displaced persons staged a sit-in before the UNRWA center in Beirut on Wednesday after Palestinian popular committees called for protests for what they describe is UNRWA’s continuous negligence.

The protesters called on the international organization to take on its responsibility in regards to the deteriorating situation inside the camps, exacerbated with the increasing number of displaced Palestinian refugees coming from Syria.
