Jumblatt after meeting Hezbollah delegation: Dialogue may be completed

Head of the Progressive Socialist Party Walid Jumblatt said on Thursday following a meeting with a Hezbollah delegation that talks tackled issues that can be addressed with regard to the economy and development.

“This is an opportunity and dialogue may be completed to reach the bare minimum level of consensus on evident matters of interest to the citizen,” Jumblatt added.

"The meeting was cordial and frank, and we put aside our differences and talked about the points that can be dealt with jointly, and this dialogue may be completed, "he added.

In turn, Hajj Hussein Khalil said that "sessions are open to discuss a name for the presidency, and there are political differences between Hezbollah and Jumblatt but there is a common space of accord."
