Relatives of Talkalakh group call for self-restraint during funeral

Syrian authorities notified Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour Friday that 3 bodies from the Talkalakh incident, namely Hajj Deeb, Abdul Karim Ibrahim and Hasssan Srour, will be delivered to Lebanon tomorrow.   
On another note, the relatives of the Talkalakh group stressed that they will receive 3 bodies tomorrow, calling on friends to commit to self-restraint during the funeral.    

The parents of the victims said that after receiving the bodies through al-Aarida crossing at 9 am, they will head to the region of al-Beddawi to carry the bodies of Abdul Hakim Ibrahim and Malek El Hajj Dib on their shoulders.   

They will walk towards the Abu Ali roundabout where the body of Hussain Srour will be waiting and then head towards the al-Mansouri mosque to check up on the bodies and conduct the necessary tests.  

Each deceased will then be taken to the house of his family for the last farewell and then to al-Taqwa Mosque. After the noon prayers, each body will be taken to its final resting place.       

Families of the victims will receive condolences on Sunday and Monday at the Harba mosque in al-Tebbaneh following afternoon prayers.

On the 30th of November 2012, reports emerged saying that a number of Lebanese nationals died in a Syrian ambush in the bordering town of Talkalakh.       

At least 14 Lebanese and Palestinian gunmen from north Lebanon were reportedly killed, with three wounded and detained in the ambush. Syrian state television aired graphic video of the dead men, riddled with gunshot wounds and lying in the grass.
