French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna underlined on Friday the need to complete the Lebanese constitutional entitlements on time, and the necessity of completing the necessary reforms to move to the final signing of the Lebanon agreement with the International Monetary Fund.

She also stressed that her message is simple, and that Lebanon must respect the constitutional entitlement, and that the officials must be up to their constitutional responsibilities as Lebanon can no longer bear its crisis.

“The country is in a very difficult situation and the time factor is very important,” she indicated, saying that the demarcation agreement must be signed, and all steps related to it must be completed, and so the various companies can start their work.

Colonna then pointed out that France supports the Lebanese people and the friends of Lebanon will help them as long as they help themselves.

She went on to note that it would be dangerous for the Lebanese to face another economic crisis and it was necessary to avoid any vacancy in power.
