Sleiman: Rational dialogue guarantees the common good

President Michel Sleiman met with a group of economic committees headed by former minister Adnan Mansour at Baabda Palace on Monday.

“The key to find a suitable solution to the issue of wage adjustment is through a serious and open dialogue”, Mansour said.

Sleiman said that he will spare no effort for the sake of the common good, adding that he is keeping close accounts of the matter [of wage raise].

“A serious and rational dialogue between the concerned parties is a must”, Sleiman added.

Sleiman also met with Interior Minister Marwan Charbel to discuss the security situation in the country as well as the electoral draft law that Charbel submitted to the cabinet.
