LACC calls on electing a sovereign reformist president

The Lebanese American Coordinating Committee (LACC) called on Monday the Lebanese Parliament to "assume its national moral responsibility in electing a new president of the Lebanese Republic, a sovereign reformist president."

In a statement, the LACC stressed that such a step acts as a starting point for stopping the constitutional coup, violating sovereignty, and involving Lebanon in regional axes that endanger its national security.
