Passport crisis set to end by February
The Director General of General Security, Major General Abbas Ibrahim, affirmed during a meeting at Makassed General Hospital that the passport crisis is ending.

Ibrahim revealed that by February 15, the passport production mechanism would return to what it was in the past, and the production capacity would return to 3,000 passports per day.

Recently, the Lebanese General Security has been reassuring the Lebanese people, affirming that it will receive 100,000 passports by the beginning of 2023.

Abbas Ibrahim previously noted to Kuwait’s Al Anba that the directorate would secure a larger quantity of one million passports within the coming six months.
