REPORT: Palestinian and Syrian refugees in Lebanon call for further humanitarian support

Palestinian refugees held a protest on Friday to support their fellow Palestinian nationals who fled from Syria to Lebanon.

The protesters held banners demanding “shelter, food, health care and education” for the displaced Palestinians who arrived in Lebanon.I

In this context, a seminar was held at the Economic and Social Council to discuss the situation of the Syrian refugees, especially those with special needs.

Talks featured high on the procedures taken to provide aid to these people.

In this regard, the representative of the Social Affairs Ministry said that the ministry will deal with the issue with utmost care.
