Houri to LBCI: We will continue to boycott the cabinet

In a phone call with LBCI’s Nharkom Said TV show, Future bloc MP Ammar Houri said that the Future Movement will continue to boycott the cabinet and all the meetings sponsored by the government, adding that he does not support the positions of his Christian allies concerning the electoral law proposals.

Houri then stated that the Future Movement is a key player in the Lebanese political life, emphasizing that “Speaker Nabih Berri does not support any agreement that is not approved by all parties.”

The MP also revealed that Former PM Saad Hariri will announce during his interview with Kalam Nas TV show on LBCI on Thursday, the details of the initiative the Future Movement is suggesting to solve the electoral crisis, stressing that it will include holding the elections according to the majoritarian system as well as the formation of a Senate and the execution of all the items of the Taif Agreement.
