Power ship Fatmagul Sultan to reach Lebanon soon

Upon the agreement concluded between the Ministry of Energy and the Cabinet, Energy Minister Gebran Bassil said on Friday that the Power ship Fatmagul Sultan has sailed from Turkey towards Lebanon.

In light of the agreement signed between the Cabinet and the Turkish Company Karadeniz on the 13th of July 2012, the power-generating ship will supply Lebanon with 270MW for 3 years.

The Power ship Fatmagul Sultan will start providing power supply as of the first half of 2013 and it will be producing 205 MW for the Lebanese power supply networks.
