Hamdan to LBCI: Prisoners swap a Palestinian victory

Hamas representative in Lebanon Oussama Hamdan said Tuesday that “the prisoner swap between Israel and Palestine is a national Palestinian victory regardless who helped reach the achievement,” stressing that this victory is an achievement for everyone and not only Hamas.

Hamdan told LBCI that “the rally of Palestinian people and leaders, from different factions and parties, to receive the prisoners is a manifestation of the Palestinian unity,” voicing hope that “the reconciliation agreement will come to completion in order to achieve this unity.”

“In order to preserve this national achievement, the deal must be completed by returning all agreed upon prisoners,” he added.
