Kataeb leader Amin Gemayel informs President Sleiman of Bkerkeh discussions

         
President Michel Sleiman convened on Friday with Kataeb leader Amin Gemayel in Baabda, and discussed the current political developments, especially the electoral draft laws and suggestions submitted for deliberations.           

The two men stressed the necessity of finding a modern electoral law which guarantees the just and constitutional representation of all Lebanese fractions.            

The Kataeb leader informed the President of the discussions that took place on Thursday in Bkerkeh aiming to find an electoral law that suits the majority of Lebanese factions.            

Sleiman also met with the ISF Director General, Maj. Gen Ashraf Rifi who informed him about the security situation in Lebanon and the procedures adopted by the ISF in order to maintain stability.            

On another note, President Sleiman met with the GSF Director General, Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim who informed him on the latest updates regarding the 9 remaining Lebanese detainees held in Syria's Aazaz.
