Bassil: It is time for the judiciary to address mobile phone file

Energy Minister Gebran Bassil said that it is about time that the Lebanese judiciary acts on the mobile phone corruption file.

Bassil said during a press conference he held in the ministry that “this file might be a lesson to all the thieves who talk about transparency”.

Bassil stressed the need to establish a body to manage the oil sector. “It is a crucial step to take so Lebanon can start assigning the oil drilling projects in earnest".
