REPORT: Mansour: Lebanese hostages are not among those killed

Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour held numerous contacts on Monday with the Lebanese delegation in Abuja that telephoned Nigeria's Foreign Ministry, and told LBCI that the Lebanese detainees are not included in the pictures shown on the Internet depicting those killed by the Ansaru rebels.

In this framework, Mansour said that the kidnappers deliberately separated the seven detainees into two groups, which reveals that they are still alive.

In the details, Mansour telephoned the charge d'affaires in Abuja, Wassim Ibrahim, who said that the Nigerian authorities did not reveal any information in regards to the hostages, adding that no military operation or gunfire had occurred in the detainees' locality, which accordingly is a good indication.
